This Sunday, May 20th, Liberty-Continental 76 will be participating in Connecticut Food Bank’s
Walk Against Hunger in Waterbury.
One out of seven of our Connecticut neighbors, mainly children and seniors, suffer from hunger and food insecurity. The walk is to raise awareness and funds to alleviate this growing problem. Please concider joining us or making a small on-line by clicking the link below. A small contribution,as little as $5 or $10, can make a world of difference in restoring well being to the body and spirit of those who have fallen on hard times.

Fraternal Greetings, Brothers,
May is going to be a busy month for us, so I want to get my monthly message out early. First, we have our Pub Night on Friday May 4th. If the food and great selection of beers is not enough to draw you in, come down to meet our guests, the Nutmeg Miata Club. They are bringing their souped-up 1990 Miata, “Nadine” that will be entered in the Fireball Run Adventurally this September. Three days later we have a Fellow Craft degree with four candidates…and that is only the first weekend!
Sunday the 20th is the Greater Waterbury Walk Against Hunger. I will be registering the team and beginning to promote the event after we get through the Pub Night and Fellow Craft. I will start a team in the lodge’s name and anyone can join us! There is an online donation link where people can contribute to assist those who do not have the basic everyday nutritional needs.
The following Sunday, another walk through town. This time we will be participating in the Memorial Day Parade then a visit to Riverside Cemetery for a memorial ceremony.
